Elliot!! What a talented, fun-loving senior! I really loved how the golden light hit Elliot. I always worry about running out of light during a shoot but it’s worth timing the sunset juuust right. I check the sunset time and plan to meet about an hour before (for a senior).

Speaking of seniors and timing … high school JUNIORS! Remember that you will want to book your senior sessions before next summer! Summer is when senior sessions are done (in Spokane anyway) - so that you can submit a picture for your yearbook photo! ❤️

Sometimes it’s too easy to hide behind my camera BUT it’s hard to form connections when you don’t know the other person, right? So, this is what my face looks like and here are a few things about myself. Haha.

*Been in business since 2008. I’ve photographed births, weddings, funerals, a future POTUS, police officers, families ... I learn something new at every single shoot.

*I used to do a little modeling when I was younger for ZCMI. Does anyone remember that department store?!

*I am currently focusing on HS seniors with a few side projects for various businesses.

*I have 5 kids - 6-16 years old. My family is my world.

*My husband and I were on a major game show on NBC. I ripped up a contract for over $100k. Long story. Who needs money anyway? 🫣

*I am stressed over this post.

*I met my husband in college in the Aloha Center (love center) at BYU Hawaii. Married a year later, just after my 21st birthday.

*I have lived in Utah, Germany, Indiana, California, Idaho, Hawaii, Nevada and now Washington!

I graduated in Social Work.

This is Mason! Mason is my handsome nephew. He is a rare combination of talented and humble. He can basically do everything and make it look simple. Just yesterday (ish) I was listening over the phone as he was born and heard his first cry. Now he is living it up at college. Love you, Mas!
