Today is day 3 of and today’s sketch is by lisa_cuneo_scrapbooking. I’m still using a kit I made during our kit class (the last little bit -I promise). I love challenging myself to use every little bit of a kit before deciding if I’m going to put the leftovers back in my stash or destash them.

I finally finished the last page for the memorial album I was creating - didn’t make it in time for Christmas, but better late than never ♥️

I love how this layout turned out and I was able to use more treasures from the give/take table at the retreat I was at - yay!

I have so much to say about this layout! If you’ve ever been to a retreat, join in on the challenges! This is one of my favorite challenges: Trash to Treasures. At some retreats, there’s a table (called give/take table) where crafters can put supplies that they’d like to find new homes for. At the beginning of the retreat, the hostess announces the trash to treasures challenge, which is where you shop from the give/take table and only use supplies from that table to make a project. You may add your own tools, adhesive and inks only.

I love “shopping” at the table right away. All the great stuff is usually dropped off first thing once a crafter gets unpacked. So I picked out a few things and made this awesome layout of my two girls ♥️

This layout was fun to combine a ton of leftovers, old and new. Leftover paper scraps from a kit conspiracy kit, leftover stenciled paper from a mixed media mayhem layout, clustered made during an online class and tiny bits just hanging around leftover from several other projects. All coming together nicely on my pages. I also practiced using my Infusions from Paper Artsy.
