At the end of August, I’ll be returning to work while continuing to grow Rare Bloom Photography. Because of that, my availability will be changing, and I’ll have very limited weekdays opening. I’m already booking through October, and my weekend dates are filling up fast!

✨ A New Chapter Begins ✨

Today, I’m so excited to share a piece of my heart with you as I officially introduce Rare Bloom Photography. 🌸

The name Rare Bloom carries a meaning that is incredibly personal to me. Rare represents the uniqueness of every person, every family, and every story. Bloom represents growth, new beginnings, and the beautiful way life unfolds in every season.

This name was inspired by my daughter, Cataleya. Her name is connected to the Cattleya orchid a rare and beautiful flower that symbolizes strength, resilience, love, and beauty. 🌸 She entered my life and reminded me that even the most precious things in life take time to bloom. 🩷

Just like a flower blooms in its own time, every family has a story, every season has meaning, and every moment deserves to be preserved. This new chapter feels like a reflection of who I am a mother, a storyteller, and someone who finds beauty in the little things.

Thank you to everyone who has supported me, trusted me, and allowed me to capture your most meaningful moments. I can’t wait to continue this journey with you as Rare Bloom Photography. 🤍

This past Saturday marked my very first session back behind the camera after taking time off to welcome our baby girl, and I couldn't have asked for a better family to start with.

This session reminded me of something important: family photos aren't about creating the "perfect" portrait. They're about preserving memories, connections, and the people we love. As photographers, we often focus on getting everyone looking at the camera, smiling perfectly, and standing just right. But sometimes the photos that aren't "perfect" end up being the most meaningful. A laugh that wasn't planned, a child looking up at their grandparent, a candid hug, or a moment shared between family members those are the memories that tell the real story.

This family reminded me why I became a photographer in the first place. Not to create perfection, but to freeze moments in time that will one day mean everything. Because years from now, no one will remember whether everyone was looking at the camera they'll remember who was in the photo.
