Danielle Lydon Photography & Design We absolutely love people! And we love learning what makes them tick, how their relationships work, and what brings them joy! Here I sit, accomplishing them.

Someone once told me that I could do anything I wanted, that I could accomplish all of my dreams. What an incredible and amazing feeling. I LOVE taking photos. I love editing, trying new things and making people smile. Smiles make the world go around. There is nothing more important to me than capturing that perfect moment in someone’s life and presenting them with the opportunity to cherish that

moment forever. Photos give people the only true memory of any given time. I’m based in Saint Louis, Missouri and I can truly say…I love what I do! I know and understand that my business and success has only come to me because of you, my clients, and God, who everyday reminds me of His love. Because of this I try my best at EVERY shoot to give you what you want. And if you don’t know what you want…then that just makes it more fun. I do my best when I know I can be as creative as I want, and I don’t have to worry about getting the perfect shot….it usually just sneaks up on you anyway. I love the candid true-life kind of photography, but can also get you a great traditional image if that is what your after. I’m a bit of a romantic, and I hope my pictures reflect that. I also think fun and energy make a great photo, and try to bring that to my shoots. I grew up in Ladue schools and have two amazing children who attend Pattonville schools. I am familiar with the entire Saint Louis metro region. I’m not afraid of large family groups, or you families with a million little kids. I love a challenge, and I love family photography! I understand the frantic getting ready for pictures, and the kids who decide at the last second that they will NOT smile, even though you’ve been practicing it for days:) and the spilling of who knows what on their new clothes. Not to worry…even the dirty clothes and the smug smiles look cute behind my lens. I look forwards to helping you create your vision. XOXO -D

Why am I awake at 3:30 in the morning you ask. Well well, fortunately for you, I have the answer. My jawbone decided this time of night would be the most convenient time to develop a baseball sized access. I’m officially 19 days away from life changing surgery. I both excited and terrified as hell. This has been a long and exhausting process. I really thought it was over after the partial glossectomy. I don’t remember much about that day except that it hurt like hell (that’s putting it mildly) and that the surgery was supposed to close my proverbial chapter on cancer. Right, Erin Michelle. It didn’t. So here I am years later with an insane amount of pain and life threatening infection that can’t be controlled without this surgery. This surgery is draining my savings and I will still owe more than I can afford. Due to the cosmetic aspect that is required after the full jaw reconstruction, insurance is paying Jack s**t. If you have the ability, I’d forever be in debt to you. If you can’t, trust me, I get it. A quick simple share of the fundraiser with a short explanation could be beyond helpful. I love all of you!!! ❤️

I had the pleasure of celebrating Alyson's senior year of high school. Aly holds a VERY special place in my heart. She has been my son's camp counselor for 5 years and I have trusted her with my entire world, every summer. My son has Asperger's syndrome and I face each summer with so many fears and each year Aly loves my little boy (and my baby girl) with everything she's got. Alyson is something some fiercely special and I consider my family BEYOND blessed to have her in our lives. Congratulations on your senior year and your amazing college choice. They are beyond lucky to have you.

We had part 1 of our 2 part senior session last week. We took photographs at sunset in Alyson's favorite places. Started at where she frequented during her high school years, reminisced in record store and enjoyed soaking up her smile and true love for the . It made it so much better that her adorable, sweet and supportive mother Leesa was able to celebrate these special shots and experiences with us. I love when parents take an active role in their children's final school photos. The images are slowly loading and are our basic images for her yearbook needs.

Our next session is less yearbook oriented and more fun, sweet, sexy, fun and just a different side of Alyson than you normally see. I am posting the images from part 1 and then ideas for part 2...I would love and welcome suggestions for part 2. View the Alyson Neiner Part 2 Ideas and vote for your favorites.

Thank you beef stew (my kiddo's nickname for Aly) for trusting me with some of the most important images of your life. Maybe you will ask me to photograph your graduation, engagement, wedding, maternity and your family.
