I photographed another house yesterday. I usually don't say much about the properties I photograph, so forgive me, this will probably get a little wordy . . .

This is not a fancy house. This is not a perfectly decorated or immaculately maintained house. But this is our house. I have never loved this house. But it is the house where my family started. My husband proposed to me in the driveway of this house. We brought all three of our babies home from the hospital to this house. First steps were taken in this house. First words were spoken in this house. Babies were nursed and rocked all night long (for more nights than I can recall) in this house.

I have never loved this house. But I will always love this home.

(And yes, we are listing it, and I didn't think it would be this emotional.)
