In 2024, I partnered with Hudson to start Southern Drone Services. What began as a simple idea for photography quickly grew into something much bigger than we ever expected.
We didn’t just learn photography and aerial drone work, we learned how to build a business. Visual marketing, cinematic filmmaking, client relationships, and what it truly takes to turn creativity into a full-time pursuit. Along the way, we gained more than customers, we gained friends, support, and experiences that shaped both of us.
As the business grew, so did life. After two years, Hudson was presented with an opportunity he couldn’t turn down and was thankful for, leading him into a new career path. That moment naturally shifted the direction of the business and left me carrying forward what we had built.
Southern Drone Services has meant a great deal to both of us. We are beyond grateful for every opportunity it opened, every lesson it taught, and every person it connected us with.
And now, instead of an ending, this becomes an evolution.
I’d like to introduce the next chapter: 3E Media LLC.
The “3E” represents my children; Ellis, Erby, and Evelyn. This name carries my family, my purpose, and the reason I continue to create and capture life through photography.
While Southern Drone Services grew into many directions, I am now focusing on what I do best, photography while continuing to grow my skills in video and editing so I can deliver even stronger visual storytelling moving forward.
For those who have followed Southern Drone Services, this is not goodbye. it’s the next step forward. Same passion. Same creator. New name and direction under 3E Media.
I’ll be continuing everything here through 3E Media LLC, so please follow along and stay connected as the journey continues.
I’m Justin Chapman, father, husband of 12 years to my wife Briana, firefighter, outdoorsman, and someone who finds purpose in capturing moments that matter.
To all my customers, who I now call friends, thank you. To my family, my brothers at the fire department, and most importantly, God for the continued guidance and strength.
This is the next chapter.
Let’s go.
