A personal note from owner & photographer, Kara:

This year, 2025, started with a huge new blessing with the birth of my first child! My partner and I welcomed our daughter into the world in January.

It’s no secret that we are first time parents and with that comes a new learning curve for us. Both of us being business owners is also a blessing because we have the flexibility with our schedules to raise our child.

This year, I’ve taken a step back from the workforce to focus full time on growing our family and growing my business! It’s a full time job to be a stay at home parent, but it also gives me the time needed to connect with my clients, re-focus the direction of my photography business, and catch up on re-editing galleries to match my style moving forward.

Although I didn’t stop photographing while pregnant - I shot weddings as lead photographer for my own clients, took on weddings as an associate for other photographers, and was a second-shooter at other weddings - I felt like I was missing out on so much because I eventually didn’t have the energy I was used to.

This year I am excited to meet new clients, continue to deliver beautiful work, and hopefully network with amazing artists in the wedding community.

Stay tuned to see what other announcements 100 Meadows Photography has for 2025! I’ll be adding some additional services this year that I’m excited to share with everyone to expand my business.

On July 13 I traveled to New Ulm, MN to photograph the wedding of Connor + Jessie. They were married in Jessie's church in New Ulm with their family and friends present. They celebrated their wedding with root beer floats, bubbles blown by loved ones during their first dance, and cotton candy for extra sweet wedding bliss.

It was a stunning venue + wedding for a hot summer day in Minnesota. With a couple as relaxed and cool as Bri + Cody, you’d never have known it was humid and 90 degrees. It was a fairytale wedding for the two of them becoming one family. I can’t wait to share their full wedding gallery.
