Every wedding has two stories unfolding at once.

The story told through the details. The invitation carefully chosen, the heirloom rings, the perfume she’ll always associate with this day, the dress that’s been waiting for this moment.

And the story told through the people. The quiet anticipation by the window. Mom fastening the shoes. The deep breath before walking down the aisle. The little moments that can’t be recreated.

Neither exists without the other.

Because the details are beautiful… but it’s the people who give them meaning.

That’s why I photograph both. Together, they tell the complete story. 🤍

There are engagement sessions… and then there are evenings like this. 🌹

We wandered through the roses, laughed a whole lot, included their sweet pup, and soaked in one of those golden summer nights you wish could last forever.

These two made my job so easy. Every glance, every smile, every quiet little moment between them was so genuine, and it shows in every photo.

Now we’re officially just two weeks away from saying “I do,” and if this session is any indication, their wedding day is going to be something really special. I truly can’t wait to document the next chapter of their story. 🤍

Some couples just feel like summer. The way he looked at her like she hung the sun, fixing her hair, whispering something that made her laugh right as I clicked the shutter. She was beaming. He was so gentle with her, so tuned in, like the rest of the world went quiet. And their little pup trailing along? The sweetest reminder that this is their whole little family already. Some galleries are too good to rush. This intimate Brookfield, CT elopement had J and E keeping their day small on purpose, just the two of them and the people who actually matter, and I’ve been holding onto these because they hit different every time I look.

Two trees, one quiet hilltop, and a love that didn’t need a crowd to feel huge. The pink bouquet, the blue suit, the way they kept finding each other’s eyes all afternoon. This is exactly why I do what I do.

K said yes by the water on the most perfect spring afternoon, and you can see it in every frame, the shock, the happy tears, the way she just melted into him. This is exactly why I do what I do.
