Annie’s senior session took just over one hour at sunset, and as you can see, the light is totally different depending on where we were and the exact time.
Not every second of a session will be drenching sunset light. I pick areas based on the look I’m going for.
Lots of looks all around the same spot and I’m just one hour.
How?
I know this spot like the back of my hand. I know how long each little spot will have its best version of sun, down to the minute. 🙌
And that’s just on a sunny evening. If it’s cloudy? Totally different spots and totally different looks.
I love what I do. Even the technical aspect of finding a spot and knowing how long we can photograph there is something I enjoy.
Maybe it’s the challenge of it all. 😉

Every month starting in October, these Color Collective Mini Days are happening!!

Details:
Color Collective Mini Days
- $65 and 2 digital images, but more are available for purchase.
- one color. Additional color backdrop can be added on for $60 (you get 2 more images too!)
- Starting in October, there are set days/times that you can book every month until the end of 2026.
-you're welcome to do a cake smash with one of these, but just know there won't be time for additional images/setups before the cake! It's all cake!

I've got something SO fun to share with you all! I've been working up a storm in the studio to add these adorable mini sessions (and my husband has been working to add cute little matching boxes, hang paper, etc😍)

Backdrop, prop, and outfit colors are all in the same family- which as you can see, makes the subject POP. 🥰😍

I will be releasing these soon and I am so excited. Genuinely excited, and after 15 years of photographing families, newborns, babies...it feels so good to get creative and excited over something new!

Best part? These will be quick, affordable and absolutely adorable. Any age welcome! Babies to age 100! 😉
These are single minis, so just one photographed at a time.
