Hello and welcome to my photography page! As you may know, photography is my side hustle, or as I like to call it, passion project.

I have often been asked if I have a photography page, so after a lot of encouragement from all you friends, here it is! After learning about the craft from a friend of the family back when I was in high school (more years past than I care to admit), I fell in love with the art and have been learning more about it ever since.

Congratulations to all of the Top 10 Under 40 honorees and to this year’s Young Professional of the Year, Dr. Trevor Ivey! 🎉

This year’s 10 honorees are Adeline Phillip, Alaysha Maple, Cody Dyson, Hannah Walton Bordeaux, Kristen Walton, Lakin Powell, Lauren Smith, Marley McCormick-Congdon, Taylor Curtis Lee, and Whitney Prescott.

It was a wonderful evening celebrating some of Sumter’s outstanding young professionals and the impact they are making in our community.

A special thank you to the Greater Sumter Chamber of Commerce and their Young Professionals Of Sumter for hosting this incredible event, SAFE Federal Credit Union for serving as the presenting sponsor, Honey Hive Catering for providing the delicious food, and Quixote Hospitality for the beverages.

Congratulations to all of this year’s honorees! Your hard work, leadership, and dedication to Sumter deserve to be celebrated. Cheers to you all!

A little piece of Sumter history with CheRenea Moye this week!

To celebrate the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, local community members took the stage to read the Declaration aloud. Cheryl brought both passion and flair to her reading.

A wonderful way to honor our nation’s founding and reflect on the words that helped shape America.

The formal season may not begin until fall, but Wateree Hounds is still going strong!

Members gathered for the club’s annual meeting to share updates, discuss plans for the coming season, and enjoy an evening of fellowship.

The event wrapped up with great food, great company, and live music from 10centsrich.

The Patriots W2 5K Sumter SC Wounded Warrior 5K took place this past Saturday—an inspiring event supporting a great cause. From top-speed runners chasing personal bests to walkers enjoying the journey, the crowd showed up in support.

7th graders who know all the moves!

This year’s Junior Cotillion class showcased their dance and etiquette skills during their annual presentation dinner at the O’Donnell House. Hosted by the Sumter Museum, the evening was a wonderful display of all the class has learned.
