real talk: i definitely feel guilty posting during tragedies. like who am i to think that someone gives a s**t about my little posts when people are losing their homes, livelihoods, memories not just physically but possibly virtually as well? can’t lie, sometimes it’s hard. i have to remind myself that it’s not just about posting to social media, it’s about creating a community out of nothing but being yourself and continuing to show up for them. one of your followers may be looking forward to or even depending on seeing your content because it’s helping them through something, or giving them a laugh when they need it. they might be relying on that community group chat you created for support. remember, it’s bigger than us as creators, it’s more than just social media, it’s a community of people who found sanctuary and comfort in your content and for those people, you have to keep showing up even when it feels selfish or cringe. i love you, thank you for continuing to show up for your communities🫶🏼🤍
