Senior year goes ridiculously fast.

One minute you're taking first-day pictures and figuring out schedules, and somehow the next you're talking about graduation, college, jobs and whatever comes after all of this.

Take the pictures.

Take them with your friends. Laugh too hard. Wear the outfit you love. Do something a little ridiculous. Document who your people are right now.

Because senior pictures aren't really about proving what you looked like at seventeen or eighteen.

They're about remembering who you were becoming.

The kind of wedding photograph that deserves more than a spot in your camera roll.

I love creating portraits that feel elevated without losing the people inside them.

Beautiful light. Intentional composition. A little editorial influence.

But still you.

Because twenty years from now, I don't want you looking at your wedding photographs and seeing whatever photography trend happened to be popular that year.

I want you to see your wedding. Your people. Your story.

Especially for the guys who would rather be doing approximately anything else. 😂

You don't have to show up knowing how to pose or pretending you're suddenly a fashion model. We keep it relaxed, figure out what actually feels like you, and I direct the rest.

The goal isn't to turn you into someone different for the camera.

It's to create really freaking good photographs of the person you already are.

And yes, guys deserve senior pictures their moms love AND they're actually willing to post.

Wedding portraits shouldn't feel like a two-hour photoshoot dropped into the middle of your wedding day.

One of the biggest parts of my job happens before I ever pick up the camera: planning enough time for beautiful photographs without making photography take over the entire day.

Because I want the gorgeous portraits.

But I also want you at your cocktail hour. Hugging your people. Eating your dinner while it's hot. Actually experiencing the wedding you've spent months planning.

Great wedding photography isn't just about knowing what to photograph.

It's knowing when to photograph it — and when to let you live it.

The photographs you don't know I'm taking are often the ones that matter most.

Of course we'll photograph the dress. The rings. The portraits. The carefully planned details.

But I'm also watching for your dad's face when he sees you. Your mom fixing something that doesn't actually need fixing because she needs one more second with you. The way your new husband reaches for your hand when no one is paying attention.

Those aren't filler photographs between the important ones.

Those are the important ones.

A wedding gallery should feel like your entire day — not just a collection of pretty portraits.

The quiet morning before everything begins. The details you spent months choosing. The look across the aisle. Your people losing it on the dance floor. And yes, the portraits you'll want framed twenty years from now.

I'm photographing all of it with the finished story in mind.

Some moments need direction. Some need beautiful light and a little planning. And some need me to stay completely out of the way and simply notice what's happening.
