PSA: SETTING THE RECORD STRAIGHT
I normally do not respond to gossip or misinformation, but it has recently been brought to my attention that false claims are being made about my business, my family, and my team by mostly people who are not clients hiding behind alias names.
Because I care deeply about my clients, my business, my reputation, my team, my family, and the dancers and families we serve, I want to offer a few clear clarifications.
As our brand has grown, so has the volume of messages we receive each day. In order to manage that responsibly and make sure important inquiries are not missed, we use a combination of AI automated messages, live DMs from my virtual assistants, and at times I respond to DMs personally.
These systems are in place to help us stay organized and responsive. I want to be very clear: I have never and will never harass a dancer or a parent. If you accidentally get repeated automated messages, that is not me personally.
I also want to clarify our interview policy. In order to be respectful of everyoneβs time and to ensure that all decision makers have the same information, we require both parents to attend the interview unless the dancer comes from a single-parent household. This is shared with families in advance before the interview takes place, so it is not a surprise. The intention is simply to make sure everyone involved has the opportunity to hear the same information, ask questions, and make an informed decision if the dancer is accepted into the program.
For those inside the program, communication and support are ongoing. We stay connected with clients through multiple platforms, including DMs through Remind, IG & FB group chats, private FB group, email reminders, and one on one calls through our Client Success Manager. We make every effort to create consistent communication and multiple points of contact for our families.
I also want to clarify the nature of my program. This is not a done for you service. I am not an agent, and I am not a manager. I do not guarantee jobs, fame, or results. What I do provide is mentorship, education, accountability, industry insight, and access to tools, resources, and opportunities designed to help dancers and families move forward with more clarity and confidence.
I also want to acknowledge that this is a premium mentorship program, and it does require a meaningful investment. It is not for everyone, and it is intended for dancers and families who are serious about building a professional career.
In the dance world, families often spend tens of thousands of dollars on competitions, conventions, travel, and training, and sometimes even hundreds of thousands on university dance programs, yet many dancers still are not taught the practical career guidance, industry insight, and real world tools we focus on inside this program.
We have even worked with university graduates who came to us because they were still missing the very things we teach here. The investment may not be right for every family, but for those who are ready to apply the work, it can be truly life changing.
Every dancer in the program is given access to the same tools, the same resources, the same support, and the same opportunity to engage. What each individual does with that support is up to them. Results will always depend on the individual, their effort, and how they apply what they are learning.
We also have a very intentional screening process. Our ads are seen by millions, our team has spoken to thousands of families, and we have reviewed thousands of applications. Over the last 3.5 years, we have accepted just over 500+ dancers into our program (an average of 12 dancers per month). We are highly selective about who we choose to bring into our ecosystem because we take mentorship seriously.
At the same time, I am incredibly proud of what so many dancers in our community have gone on to accomplish. I have had the privilege of watching dancers get signed by top agencies including MSA, GTA, Bloc, CTG, Premiere, and da Costa, perform in opportunities such as the Super Bowl Halftime Show, the Grammys, and Coachella, work on projects connected to artists like Usher, Rihanna, and Kendrick Lamar, appear in music videos for Enola Bedard and Shania Twain, book commercials for Disney, Gap, Delta, and Walmart, become brand ambassadors for Tiger Friday, Five World, and Jo & Jax, secure cruise ship contracts with Disney and Princess, and gain acceptance into respected university programs, college dance teams, and professional training programs.
Every one of those wins matters to me because behind each one is a dancer who chose to show up, do the work, and keep believing in what was possible for their future. That is why I do this work. I care deeply about helping dancers grow not only in opportunity, but in confidence, clarity, professionalism, and belief in themselves.
I also want to say thank you to every guest speaker and guest coach who has contributed to The Business of Dance. We have brought in more than 100 industry experts, including agents, dancers, teachers, choreographers, dance business owners, influencers, casting directors, producers, and creative directors, who our clients have had the privilege of learning from and connecting with. Their contribution has added tremendous value to this community, and I am deeply grateful for every person who has been part of that mission.
My heart has always been to serve dancers and families with honesty, integrity, and care. Like any growing business, we are always learning and refining, but false claims about my character, my family, or my intentions are simply not true.
If anyone ever has sincere questions about my program, my policies, or the support we provide, I welcome respectful and direct communication.
To the many dancers and families who have trusted me and supported my work, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your trust means everything to me, and I will continue to stay focused on serving the right families, doing meaningful work, and leading with integrity.
