Hey everyone!

I tend to not post. I get enough referral business to keep as busy as I'd like. However, this year I got injured and have been hoping I would return to work sooner than later. However, it turns out my injuries are going to need more time and the possibility of surgery. So with a heavy heart I need to let you all know that this summer and fall are off the table unfortunately. I can refer people out to other amazing and trust worthy photographers for the time being. Hopefully I can see your beautiful face next year or later this year.

This breaks my heart, I've photographed some of my families for 10-11 years. So hopefully most of you will return. But for now I can not even carry my equiptment bag to these shoots, let along take you on a fun adventure.

I've already turned away so many people, and I'm sorry. But I have to take care of myself so I can come back strong.

Dan & Jen are dear friends whom I adore, and it was obvious that so many feel the same as my husband and I about them. Many loved ones were a part of their day in one way or another; including the beautiful cake that was made by a close friend! Obviously, its because you guys are so awesome!

Phase 2 is finally here!!

I will be offering outdoor sessions only for the time being. Family session 5 or less, seniors, kids milestone sessions, maternity all a go!

So if your looking to book a session message me, let's make it happen.

In the mean time I'm going to take the weekend to strategize for any mini session events as time inbetween families is needed for santizing. Additional precautions will be implemented.

Hello, hello, hello!!!!

Well good news is we are getting closer to being able to legally resume work. Today's press conference did not indicate how Pierce county will move forward. Until I have a firm return date I will not take sessions for June or July.

I have to be honest I'm terrified of filling my schedule, with a potential to return to phase 1 if necessary. With all the potential refunds and reschedules for not just clients but investments into venues, props ect that make the sessions unique, it's still a delicate process. So I will be cautiously moving forward.

But moving forward, no matter how many small steps! I'm still happy to be able to. I'm eagar to get back with the families I love so much. I cant wait to make that announcement officially. ❤

I've written this post about 10x. I'm trying to keep it simple, but the reality is planning around a phased in pandemic is not an easy task. I want to be planning sessions with all my amazing clients, however I don't want to book to early if everything will just be rescheduled or refunded. It's simply counter productive at this point.

I have Wild hearts farm glass house reserved since Feb for June 6th. I can't even fill that date, knowing it's highly likley to be pushed out. However, anyone who would like to be put on a waiting list for June 6th is welcome knowing it maybe rescheduled. I will not take any money for now to reserve spots. Message me for details.

So with this said. I'd love comments from clients, past and future to see where everyone's thoughts are. When would you feel comfortable resuming family sessions? I have gear that can distance me. I can wear a mask.

Will you even book a session this year (any photographer) or will you hold off? I understand the importance if capturing memories but I also understand it's a luxury service. Which means people may not want to risk it. Will you be more likley to book a mini session or full session. There truly is alot to consider. Will clients want to stay closer to home, or will they still want to adventure and take amazing scenic photos?

I maybe overthinking this, but any client insight is greatly appreciated! After all, these sessions are for your beautiful memories 🧡
