While out fishing the other morning, this of a was in the vicinity I was in….and then when he saw me he started coming towards me so I moved further down the bank….and wouldn’t you know that ballsy decided to@turn around and swiftly swim in my direction again??! Since my fiancé, whom I call the lol was around, I backed up and stepped further away from the banks (I could hear him yelling at me - get away from the water!! Like he always does lol) and then as ol’ Brutus got near…it’s like he said…”sike! Had you fooled!” And swam away snickering his ass off (or so in my head it played out that way lmao) Obviously it’s hard to tell in the pic but he was a pretty good size, larger than most you’ll see in the lakes around here, unless Lake Hancock or Parker….Saddlecreek…but he definitely would’ve taken a limb or 2 and I wasn’t trying to give any up lol if ya didn’t know how to determine the I’ll share some good to know knowledge with ya….to determine the size of an look at the distance between the eyes. The further apart the bigger he is. The inches will equate into estimated feet. For example, if there’s about 3” between his eyes, he’ll most likely be around 3’ every should know lol I’ll admit, I’m more scared of a friggin than an alligator lmfao

Disclaimer: My pictures don’t do this place the justice it deserves…The historic Columbia Restaurant, founded in 1905 by Casimiro Hernandez, Sr., in Ybor City, Tampa, is the oldest continuously operated restaurant in Florida and the oldest Spanish restaurant in the U.S. Named after the song “Columbia, Gem of the Ocean,” it started as a café for local cigar factory workers and now spans an entire city block with 15 dining rooms, covering 52,000 sqft with a capacity of 1,700 people. Its Andalusian-style patio features a mosaic-tiled fountain, marble floors, and palm trees. Known for their Spanish bean soup, it was Tampa’s first air-conditioned restaurant. Now in their 5th generation, it remains family-owned by the Hernandez and Gonzmart families, who run the, now 7 locations. You’ll want to add this place to your bucket list of things to do if you’re coming to the area. The original location will offer you history, a wonderful ambiance, outstanding service and great food too.

-Queen aka is found at a rest stop located on the southbound side of I-75 and right before the exits. What is this? It’s an elevated walkway that’s shaped like a giant snake which overlooks the Preserve State Park at its head. This wall resembles a Queen Snake with a length of 325 feet from the tip of the nose to the end of the tail and 13 feet tall at the highest point. Multicolored bricks are seen on the patio, at the midway viewpoint is the 'bunny bulge', then it’s diagonally-shaped head with eyes (lights) and a forked tongue. about are seen in the surrounding foliage, so just beware of your surroundings. Paynes Prairie, so unique in many ways. Wild-roaming bison and horses can’t be seen anywhere else in the state, but not only that, 300 species of birds also frequent the park, along with alligators, deer and other animals.

Paynes Prairie is a as well as a that encompasses a 21,000-acre savanna located in lying between and . Both I-75 and U.S. 441 (which has a scenic outlook ramp) crosses it and in the center of the Paynes Prairie Basin.
