Some mornings make the early alarm completely worth it.

As the first light reached the canyon walls, shadows slowly retreated and the textures of the landscape began to emerge. What felt hidden moments before was revealed piece by piece, shaped by time, weather, and light.

Moments like this remind me why I continue to chase sunrise. Not simply for the photograph, but for the experience of watching a place come alive.

More from this journey to come.

Lossiemouth East Beach is one of those places I still think about long after returning home.

The coastline, changing light, and constant movement of the sea made it a place where it was easy to slow down and simply be present.

Many of my favorite photography memories aren't tied to a single image. They're tied to experiences like this. Standing on a beach, listening to the waves, watching the light change, and waiting to see what unfolds.

Sometimes the photograph is only part of what stays with you.

A selection of my work is now on display at a local coffee shop for the next three months.

One of the things I enjoy most about displaying work in spaces like this is that people encounter it naturally. They may stop for a cup of coffee, meet a friend, or spend a quiet moment reading, and along the way discover a photograph that speaks to them.

Many of these images began as early mornings, long drives, changing weather, and moments of stillness in places that left a lasting impression on me.

I'm grateful for the opportunity to share them in a space where they can become part of someone's day.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support my journey as an artist.

There’s something special about seeing photographs leave the studio and begin new conversations.

Grateful for everyone who has stopped by this weekend, shared stories, asked questions, and spent time with the work.

Honored to be part of this year’s Centennial Fine Art Festival alongside an incredible group of artists from across the country.

I’ll be sharing work that reflects the quieter side of the landscape, those moments where light, weather, and stillness come together in ways that feel personal and familiar rather than loud or obvious.

If you’re in the area on May 30th and 31st, I’d love to connect in person and share the work in a physical space again.

The rush of water, the drama of shadow and light. Charcoal Cascade reminds us that even in motion, there’s a kind of quiet energy.

If you were here, would you step closer to feel the spray, or watch from a distance and take it all in?

The past few days have been filled with framing, preparation, long hours, and getting ready for upcoming shows and installations.

This piece is now getting ready to head out for another exhibition, which never stops feeling both exciting and a little vulnerable at the same time.

There’s something meaningful about watching work move from quiet moments in the landscape into spaces where other people will experience it in their own way.

After miles of road, changing weather, and days spent chasing light, it’s the quieter moments at home that bring everything back into balance.

Grateful for both the journey and the people waiting at the end of it.

Some places feel less like destinations and more like stepping into another world entirely.

Bisti was one of those places for me.

Wind, silence, endless stone formations, and a landscape that felt almost impossible to fully understand while standing there waiting for sunset.

Two pieces are heading out soon for another national juried exhibition.

There’s always a mix of gratitude and vulnerability in sending work into the world like this.

Most of this work begins quietly. Early mornings. Long drives. Waiting for light that may or may not arrive.

Seeing these images move from the field, to the studio, and eventually into gallery spaces never stops feeling meaningful to me.

If you’re curious to see more from the collection, feel free to reach out or explore the work through my profile.
