It’s been a while, but I’ve always looked forward to getting back to real-life storytelling.

Meet my friend Paris. Along with her friend, Dr. Amerah, she recently started a program at the local YMCA in downtown Toledo, dedicated to empowering the confidence of young Black and Brown girls.

I invited Paris over to talk more about the growing demand for their program, her personal confidence journey, and the deeper roots behind it all.

Five-month-old teething baby Silas + parents. One thing I love about photography is the chance to connect one-on-one with people. It’s always a catch-up or a fun convo 🥰 — and us against Mother Nature (in this case, the heat 🥵).

We went for purple royalty vibes. Added in the spring colors, a glowing garden, lots of laughs (if yk this bubbly hairstylist, yk) + her fiancé putting up with all our antics.

It was impossible to narrow down, so -pleasee- bear with me. I tend to overdo it sometimes.

It’s giving college grad 🤓

Last Saturday, I met my brother on the Maumee River following his commencement ceremony + dinner at Texas Roadhouse (he still orders fries and chicken tenders).

My suede black heels sank into the mud as I tried not to lose my balance as we hopped across the rocks to get to the flat part of the river. My bro in his suit + sophisticated glasses, posed against a moody blueish gray sky — fresh off graduating cm laude with a Business degree in Marketing.
