Questions like:

How do you feel about students being involved in your care?

Would seeing your baby in a mirror motivate you or weird you out?

Do you want your partner to catch the baby? Do you?

What helps you feel safe and supported when you're stressed?

We'll also cover common interventions, comfort measures, local hospital policies, your rights, and the risks, benefits, and alternatives of the options you may be offered.

Because labor is a lot easier to navigate when you're not hearing everything for the first time.

Hi, I’m Eva!

Since I can remember I’ve been assisting caregivers and parents with little ones. I believe the connection between parent and baby is very important, especially in the postpartum phase. If one isn’t thriving, that directly affects the other. I strive to make sure both of you are attended to.

I have a background in herbalism and landscape & design, so as you can guess I love anything to do with greenery! I offer recommendations on prenatal and postpartum nutrition, but will always advise confirming with your doctor.

As a doula I hope to bring a grounded presence to families who are welcoming a new little life into their lives. With a compassionate approach I focus on evidence-based care. Whether in a hospital or at home, my goal as a certified birth & postpartum doula is to make you and your partner feel empowered, supported, and informed.

Hi, I’m Ash.

I started Wild Womb after the birth of my second child. When people asked about my experience, I described it as "fine." And honestly, I think new parents deserve better than fine.

I had a healthy baby and a healthy outcome, but I left feeling like there was a gap between what I needed and the support I received. Birth is an intense, vulnerable experience, and in those moments it can be hard to ask questions, process information, or even find the words for what you need.

That experience led me to become a full spectrum doula, birth photographer, herbalist, and childbirth educator. I'm passionate about helping families understand their options, protect their autonomy, and feel confident using their voice. Sometimes that means education, sometimes it means advocacy, and sometimes it simply means having someone steady by your side.

When I'm not attending births, I'm usually chasing my toddler, spending time with my older daughter, hiking, gardening, or foraging herbs.

I knew early on that I would likely be having an induction which meant the chances for intervention were high unless I had a doula on my side. Choosing Ash was a no brainer for us! I can’t imagine my birth without her. Having her support made a huge difference for our birth experience. She helped create space to process our options and advocate for ourselves and birth preferences.

Her doula bag had everything you could think of to help create some good calming vibes and play around with different positions and pain management techniques. The nurses kept commenting on how relaxing the space felt.

She is simply the best! Totally worth the investment in yourself to have a doula. The support pre/during/post birth is something everyone deserves.

Your birth preferences are important.

Taking time to learn your options before labor can make a huge difference in how you experience your birth. When decisions come up, it's a lot easier to ask questions and feel confident when you've already had a chance to think through what matters to you.

How do you feel about cervical checks? Continuous monitoring? Pain management options? What comfort measures are available? What happens if labor takes an unexpected turn?

These are the kinds of conversations we have during our prenatal visits.

Together, we'll talk through your preferences, common interventions, local hospital policies, your rights, and the risks, benefits, and alternatives of the options you may be offered.
