Shaelyn & Gavin threw a celebration at their family’s private estate that was crazy enough even Big Tex showed up. This weekend was one I was anticipating ever since they reached out to me - and even with all the build up I put in my head, it still exceeded my expectations.
Day one started with their closest friends and family gathered around a table sharing pizza, drinks, and toasts. It was a day that made you cry (multiple times) and crack up laughing. It was a bad day to be a tear duct.
Day two started with footballs on the lawn for the boys and mimosas in hand for the girls. Shaelyn and Gavin met for a first look where they poured their hearts out to each other with their private vows. Fast forward to the reception for maybe my favorite reception design of all time, where guests enjoyed saddle-inspired bar seats and a swan ice sculpture. A couple drinks into the night and guests were throwing wigs onto the antlers above.
Truly one of the greatest wedding weekends I’ve ever been apart of that was centered around togetherness, faith, and partying.
