Fall family feelings and beautiful Lake Tahoe! I absolutely love seeing my dads art work around. Should we market this for our official shops grand opening coming up? I love this piece that hangs over my parents fireplace. It’s really a stunning Lake Tahoe shot. Out the window are the fall colors with the blue mountains behind. You can see my messy mom hair and then over the green marble fireplace hangs this blue moody beauty of his photography. I got to touch it up a bit to make it even more moody and I think my mom put in some time as well so this piece is really a family effort. ❤️

To live to the hilt is a metaphor for sword fighting. When there was a duel or sword fighting, to go to the hilt was challenging and risky. Doing anything "to the hilt" means doing it to the uttermost, with nothing held back, by analogy with plunging a sword or knife into a substance as far as the blade will go. A hilt is "the handle of a weapon or tool, particularly of a sword or dagger" (American Heritage Dict.). ❤️ a

Wether or not you feel like a hero you are! You are always in a fight. A fight for what is right. A fight for yourself and for others. Stand firm. Fight for your families rights. Fight for not only survival but for a thriving life. Most the time I feel like I’m a hot mess with two babies I’m running around for and all the craziness of either a pandemic or a smoke filled sky. I have to have something like this to help remind me we are in a huge battle right now and even though my cloths are a sticky mess the garments I’m wearing are the armor if I choose to put it on!
