Night 2 of the World of Outlaws Sprints PREMIER CHEVY DEALERS CLASH at the Sprint Car Capitol of the World. 63 cars in the pits and we are live on DIRTVision. Had so much fun in the lift the last couple races, I decided to do it again. It’s such a cool shot.

Race 36 of 2026 is the 23rd Running of the Jim Hurtubise Classic at the Action Track for the USAC National Sprint Car Series. We are live on FloRacing with 22 Sprint Cars in the pits along with 14 UMP Modifieds. Great to see Grand Marshal Rusty McClure after all these years…

Tonight was race number 1400 since 2014 when I finally started actually counting how many races I cover in a season. Below is the detailed list per year. All races are documented and I have the footage of each event. Add in the well over 1000 races I did from when I first moved to Indiana in 2003 to when I moved back to California in 2013, the years from 1984-2002 that surely is another thousand races, and I figure I have covered over 3000 in my career.

Tonight’s World of Outlaws race at Pevely was my 35th race of the year. We had 37 cars and Buddy Kofoid won his third consecutive feature of the season. We were live on DIRTVision.

Excited for the new chapter of American space travel to the moon. I was 4 months and 4 days from birth on July 20, 1969 when Neil Armstrong first stepped on the moon. My Grandfather Warren Whipple was an integral part of the NASA space program in the 60s, 70s and 80s, and he would be proud that we are going back to the moon. As am I… 🌖
