When Briana Dazell posted photos of her recent race, her beautiful credit to God completely inspired me. I knew I wanted to try recreating that energy on canvas!

I’m definitely not a portrait painter, but this piece taught me so much. Pushing myself out of my comfort zone to capture the fast-paced motion and the deep violet shadow undertones was tough, but incredibly rewarding. Hours of love went into this one! 👇
