🚨 EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY 🚨

As a photographer, I have made the decision that I will no longer be posting identifiable images of children’s faces on my photography business pages, regardless of whether a signed model release has been provided.

Moving forward, I will either pixelate children’s faces or share close-up details and images where their faces are not identifiable.

Recent developments surrounding AI and the way children’s images can potentially be manipulated have made me take a step back and really consider what responsibility I have as a photographer.

The reality is that once an image is posted online, we cannot control where it goes, who saves it, or what technology may eventually be capable of doing with it.

That is something I simply cannot ignore.

Will this change how I market my business? Maybe.

Will it mean I have fewer images to share? Probably.

Do I care?

Not more than I care about protecting the children who are trusted to me.

My clients are trusting me with some of their most precious memories, and I take that responsibility seriously. As a photographer and as a mom, I would rather take every precaution possible than look back and wish I had done more.

My business will never be more important to me than the safety and privacy of the families I serve.

I will always do my best to make choices that protect my clients, their children, and their memories, even when those choices may not be the easiest or most convenient for my business.

The safety of your children will always come before my portfolio. 🤍
