Photographing my daughter during her SENIOR PHOTO SESSION was quite a special experience. As a mom, I wanted to capture her true personality. She loves many things but above all she loves nature, animals and beautiful dresses, so choosing only one location was a challenge -- we end up selecting three.
For this main location, Veronica chose a dress she found during our vacation in Door County at the one of the boutiques in Fish Creek. The location itself was downtown Milwaukee, a place where we often enjoyed summer walks together.
We photographed during late afternoon when the light was beautifully bouncing off the building walls. The tall grasses and flowers blended perfectly with the urban city atmosphere, creating a unique combination of nature and downtown life.
One big advantage was the absence of mosquitoes. During summer sessions in open fields, they can be everywhere and make the experience uncomfortable for both the senior and the photographer on hot days.
I truly enjoyed this time with my daughter, and she enjoyed it as well. The entire session was my gift to her, and looking back at these moments now, I am so happy we created them together. Shopping for the dress was so much fun as well.
