There’s something about winter maternity sessions that stays with me.

The quiet fields. The crisp air. The way parents instinctively wrap their arms a little tighter around the life they’re waiting to meet.

As I look back through these images, I’m reminded that maternity photos aren’t really about documenting a baby bump. They’re about preserving the season before everything changes.

The last few months of wondering what they’ll look like.
The anticipation of hearing their cry for the first time.
The dreams, prayers, and conversations shared between two people preparing to become a family in a brand-new way.

Now, many of these babies are here. Growing, laughing, taking up space in the hearts of everyone around them.

And these photographs have become a time capsule of the chapter before “hello.”

The season was cold, but the memories are still warm. 🤍
