Is anyone else as excited as I am for Spring?? It's so close, we can almost taste it!

Spring newborns are NOW booking on my calendar! March is almost full and April isn't far behind.

It is ALWAYS best to get those newborn sessions booked while you are still pregnant! I always suggest people book for their due date - that gets your spot reserved and on my calendar. And then once baby arrives, you reach out and we plan the specific date of your session.

Did you hear??? For Spring and Summer of 2026, I am offering Outdoor Family Mini Sessions!

They are going to be booked "Pop-Up" style before an already booked Full Session on weekdays only.

Current Mini Session dates available are: April 30th, May 8th, July 15th, August 13th

So that means, if you want an outdoor mini session, you'll have to continually check my scheduling site (or follow me on socials) as the booking of a Full Session is what will trigger a mini to become available!

The details:
20 Minute outdoor session
Location will be predetermined so flexibility is needed
5 digital downloads included
$300

Ideal for:
Families with older kids who know the drill and don't require a lot of time to warm up or get comfortable with strangers.
Families who prefer more posed/looking-at-the-camera shots
Families who have flexibility and don't want to choose their location.
Families who are interested in a smaller finished gallery for a more budget-friendly price

NOT idea for:
High School Senior Sessions
Families with infants, toddlers, or little kids who are shy/need time to warm up or need a lot of redirecting.
Clients who want the ideal golden hour time slot
Clients who want to choose their location
Families who love large galleries with a lot of movement, un-posed moments, and variety
Clients who need a weekend session

*Class of 2026 - If you are wanting a spring Senior Session, now is the time to start thinking about booking! My outdoor schedule is open starting Mid-April! Weather is usually pretty agreeable by then and there are options for spring blooms as well!

** Class of 2027 - June-August are my most popular months for rising Seniors to book their sessions! Between vacations, summer sports schedules, work, etc - it's always best to make a plan early for your Senior Session. And it's never too early to get on my calendar!

These 15-minute mini sessions are a perfect way to celebrate graduation season. Ideal for Class of 2026 seniors who already had a full session and want to add cap & gown images, OR for seniors who skipped photos earlier in the year.

They are also great for kindergarten or preschool graduates!

Sessions take place in Downtown Lockport.

Feel free to bring your college choice items too!

- A specialized secure wrapping technique where a baby is bundled snugly, usually with arms by their side or up under their chin, to resemble a small round sack or "potato"

If you've had a newborn session with me, there's a HIGH likelihood I've done this pose with your baby - because I love it so much! It offers so much variety throughout the session - the under layer stays secure and I can switch the outer wrap without disturbing baby at all! It also has magical soothing powers for even the most awake and/or fussy babies 😉

My 2026 Spring/Summer Outdoor Schedule is now open!!

My newsletter subscribers have had a jump start and a lot of weekend dates were already snagged up.

If you take a peek at the booking link, you may notice a brand new offering this coming season - Outdoor MINI Sessions!!

Now, most people know, I'm pretty vocal about being anti-mini for outdoor family sessions. And I definitely do not think they are the best fit for everyone. But... I also realize the need for a shorter and more budget friendly option for some families.

I'm going to try out a new format for this Spring and Summer and see how it works out. (Mini Sessions will most likely NOT be available once Fall season starts).

Here are the details on the new Mini Sessions:
*20 Minute outdoor session for families (NOT ideal for HS Seniors)
*$300
*5 Digital Downloads included
*Weeknights ONLY
*These will become available pop-up style and ONLY before an already booked Full Session
*That means, the availability for the Mini Sessions will pop-up as full sessions book and my schedule allows
*Earlier than prime golden hour
*No choice of location - you will have to come to where the Full session is already taking place.

All of that being said - I do NOT recommend Mini sessions for families with young infants or toddlers or children who are more shy and need time to warm up.
They can be great for families with older kids who know the drill and for when you want a mostly-posed/smiling at the camera session.

However... if you want a prime golden-hour spot at the location of your choice with a lot of candid interaction and movement captured - a Full Session is what you want!

I know there are a lot of choices when it comes to newborn photographers. What I offer is a calm, professional studio space designed just for newborns—quiet, warm, and unhurried—along with a thoughtfully curated collection of props and styling options. Most importantly, your baby’s safety is always my top priority, with newborn safety training guiding every pose and setup.

Spring newborn sessions are best booked before your baby arrives. I only accept a limited number of due dates each month so every family receives my full attention.

Those early days pass quickly, but the images last forever.

When this group of adorable little boys walked into my studio door yesterday - I'm not going to lie - I almost teared up! They so reminded me of my own boys at that age, it was a total flashback instantly!

They each for sure showed off their full personalities in their individual photos and I will be sharing those too. But, this sibling shot - I about melted on the floor!

Mama, this needs to be a full poster size to grace your walls forever and always!
