The response to Gloria Steinem and Dorothy Pitman Hughes has been a powerful reminder of how deeply their work continues to resonate.
In 2013, I had the privilege of photographing Gloria and Dorothy as they recreated their iconic 1971 raised-fist portrait. More than forty years separated the two images, but their friendship, strength, and shared commitment to empowering women and advancing equality remained unmistakable.
The photograph later became part of the permanent collection of the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery.
For those who would like to learn more about the photographs and the story behind them, I’ve created a dedicated page on my website. It also includes information about available archival fine-art prints, including the Signature Edition signed by Gloria, Dorothy, and me.
