Meet Adelenne, Class of 2026🎓🫶

Adelenne is graduating from Brownell Talbot and heading to UC San Diego this fall, and what an incredible senior year she has had! From theater, orchestra, chorus, and a ca****la to serving as President of National Honor Society and House Leader at Brownell Talbot, Addy has truly made the most of every opportunity.

Her long list of accomplishments is beyond impressive, including Varsity Letters in Theatre, Chorus, and Orchestra, being named a Greater Omaha Area Youth Salute honoree, an NSAA Believers & Achievers Finalist, earning the Nebraska Department of Education’s Platinum Seal of Biliteracy, and being recognized as an AP Scholar with Distinction. But beyond all the achievements, what stood out most during Addy’s session was how genuine and grounded she is.

Addy shared that her favorite part of her senior session was simply getting to have a super fun day! She loved exploring fun locations with Carrie, posing in unique spots, and feeling relaxed and natural instead of stiff or awkward. Honestly, that’s exactly what I hope every senior experiences during their session.

One of my favorite things she said was: “The real glow-up is being comfortable with who you already were.” 💛 I absolutely love that perspective, and I think it’s such a beautiful reminder for seniors heading into this exciting new season of life.

Congratulations, Addy! You are headed for amazing things at UCSD, and I cannot wait to see all you accomplish next! 🎓✨

Meet Emily, Class of 2026🎓💛

Emily is graduating from Gretna High School and heading to UNL this fall to study Biological Sciences! Between band, reading, and earning the Global Seal of Biliteracy, it’s clear that Emily has worked incredibly hard throughout high school while staying true to who she is.

One of my favorite things about Emily’s session was how naturally her personality came through in her photos, even though she was a little timid at first. She shared that her favorite part of the experience was being able to express herself through her images, and I absolutely love that. Senior photos should feel personal and meaningful, and Emily brought such a calm, genuine energy to her session.

She also mentioned being surprised by how much she loved her final images since she doesn’t get professional photos taken very often, which honestly makes me so happy to hear. Sometimes all it takes is the right setting, a little encouragement, and a chance to simply be yourself.

Emily’s advice for upcoming seniors? “Make the most of it!” And she’s absolutely right. Senior year flies by faster than you think.

Meet Taylor Honeyman, a Class of 2026 senior from Millard North High School with a creative spirit and a heart for serving others! 🎨🎓

Taylor spends her time teaching art at Two Keys Studio, taking classes through the Kent Bellows studio, and staying involved in youth group at church. Her passion for creativity and helping others shines through in everything she does!

This year, Taylor was inducted into National Honor Society and was also selected for an incredible art mentorship program through Kent Bellows Studio, an amazing accomplishment for any young artist!

After graduation, she plans to attend University of Nebraska Omaha to major in Fine Arts with a minor in Business Administration (Fun fact: Many years ago I also went to UNO in their Fine Arts Department to be an Art Teacher before photography stole my heart).💛

One of Taylor’s favorite parts of her senior session was being able to naturally incorporate her love for art into her photos in a way that truly reflected who she is.

She also loved how beautifully the light was captured throughout her images, especially in the final edits.

Her advice for upcoming seniors?
“Be your authentic self!”

And her sweet message to future clients absolutely made my day:

Continuing my Class of 2026 senior highlight series with another incredible senior I’m so proud to know, Rebecca Brooks!

Rebecca graduated from Papillion-La Vista South High School and has already accomplished so much during her high school years.

She loves reading, playing video games, and tennis, and this year she earned some amazing recognitions including SkillsUSA Retiring State Secretary, Job Skills Demo State Champion, Academic Letter, and Magnum Cum Laude. What an incredible combination of leadership, intelligence, and dedication!

After graduation, Rebecca plans to attend Hastings College to major in STS and Trades Secondary Education, and I know she is going to make such a difference in the lives of others.

One of my favorite answers from Rebecca was when I asked about her senior photo experience. She shared:
“I felt pretty for the first time in a while.”

That answer hit me deeply because THIS is exactly why I believe senior photos matter so much. Sometimes these sessions become so much more than pictures. They become a chance for students to see themselves in a new light, to feel confident, celebrated, and beautiful exactly as they are. 💛

She also shared that she was surprised by how much she loved her final images:
“I looked a lot better than I thought I would!”

Rebecca, my wish for your future is to see yourself the way everyone else already does. You are bright, capable, kind, and absolutely beautiful inside and out.
