What to expect when you hire me for your headshot and branding portraits! ✨

POSING 🕺
Don’t stress, I got you!
It’s my job to guide and pose you so you look your best and love your images. I don’t expect anyone to automatically be comfortable in front of the camera or know how to pose. Don’t stress, I got you!

LOCATION 📷
You have options.
I have a home studio, just outside of downtown Northville, where I photograph most of my headshot and branding sessions. However, I do go on-site or to an outdoor location if that is the vibe you’re going for.

WHAT TO WEAR 👗
I’m here to help you plan.
What to wear can be one of the biggest stresses of booking a photoshoot, but I’m here to help. You will receive my welcome guide with tips and inspiration. I’m also available for a phone consult and I recommend bringing more then you need so I can help you what will photograph best.

MAKEUP & HAIR 💄
Available as an add-on.
Although not required, I do recommend professional makeup for your session. My stylists know how to give you a look you are comfortable with and will look great on camera. Hair is also available for select session types.

PERSONALITY 😃
Keep it simple or bring props.
I aim to bring your personality out in your images. For certain session types, we have the opportunity to use items to help tell your story. I share some ideas in the welcome guide you’ll receive and I’m always here for questions and help.

RETOUCHING 💻
No plastic SKIN OR blemishes.
I edit out any blemishes without giving you a plastic skin look. I retouch with a light hand to make you look your best but still like yourself (on your best day after moisturizer).

for you. You will receive my welcome magazine loaded
with inspiration, advice and tips. We’ll do a pre-session
consult to talk details including wardrobe help. We’ll have you confident and prepared with a what to wear plan!

POSING 💃
Don’t stress, I got you
I don’t expect anyone to automatically be comfortable in front of the camera or know how to pose. It’s my job to guide you so you look darn good and you love yourImages. The seniors on my website and Instagram are real people, not models.

LOCATION 🗺️
My location list and I are here to help
You will have access to my extensive list of locations. Most spots even include a link to a session example. This is another session detail we’ll talk about during your phone consult so we can make sure you pick the perfect location(s) for you. I’m also always open to new spots as well.

My stylists are wonderful at putting you at ease and getting you camera ready. They are talented professionals who are committed to giving you a look you are happy with. Of course, if you are more comfortable doing your own hair and/or makeup, that works too.

Represent your sport, incorporate your hobby, bring your dog, get a picture with your family/sibling or just keep it simple. It’s all on the table, as much or as little as you want.

Ugh, breakouts always happen at the worst times! But do not to worry, I edit out any blemishes without giving you a plastic skin look. So you’ll look like yourself on your best days.

MY ATTENTION 🙋‍♀️
I don’t over book.
I want to be able to give you and every senior the
energy and attention you deserve. For this reason, I only book a certain number of sessions each month. A burnt out photographer can’t give you their best work and that’s not good for anyone!
