We price our babies individually due to confirmation size and color and our biggest desire is for them to go only to the most loving of homes. Placing a Hold requires a deposit: For each puppy we require a deposit for the p

uppy of your choice! You will need to contact me to make sure we agree on the arrangement and how we will go about holding your pup for you. Once you agree to send deposit, payment must be received within 3 business days or the puppy will be back up for adoption if other acceptable arrangements have not been made. Fees are non-refundable for any reason. Please do not consider buying if you are concerned about this non-refundable deposit. We accept postal money orders only and request that they are sent by certified mail, or Fed Ex. The remaining balance for puppy would then be due in cash upon pick-up! ***We do reserve the right to cancel a "Puppy Order" if it seems appropriate, if cancellation does occur, deposit would be refunded at that time.*** We DO NOT SHIP:), but we can help provide nanny service. You are MORE then welcome to come and pick up your puppy at our residence and meet the parents! We encourage you to do this. This will help you see more about your puppy and where it came from. You can learn a lot by this endeavor and we love to see interactive excited families. If there is a need for travel, travel expenses will apply. * We reserve the right to update and amend any of our policies or agreements as the need or situation merits. All of our Pomsky parents have been embarked and are amazing dogs.

Every now and then, we have a very special dog that we hope to keep as part of our breeding program while allowing them to enjoy the life they deserve — as a cherished family companion. Because of this, we are searching for just the right Guardian Home for one of our beautiful girls.

A Guardian Home is a unique opportunity to welcome an exceptional puppy or dog into your family at no cost while partnering with us for a limited period of time.

✨ How It Works

🤍 She lives with you as your beloved family dog.
🏡 She enjoys everyday life with your family, sleeps indoors, goes on adventures, and is loved as your own.
🐾 During breeding and when it’s time to welcome puppies, she returns to us here at Smart Pomskies and Frenchies.
🤍 Once her breeding career is complete, full ownership is transferred to you, and she is yours forever.

✨ What We’re Looking For

• A loving, committed family within a reasonable driving distance of Rathdrum, Idaho (up to approximately 3 hours preferred).
• A securely fenced yard.
• Any resident dogs should be spayed or neutered.
• A willingness to maintain open communication and work together as partners.
• A home where she will be treasured as a family member and receive proper nutrition, veterinary care, exercise, and plenty of love.

Our dogs are raised in our home on our small farm in North Idaho, surrounded by family, children, love, and daily enrichment. Guardian Homes are incredibly important to us because they allow our dogs to live full family lives while remaining a valued part of our program.

We are not simply looking for homes — we are looking for wonderful families to become part of our journey.

Hi, I’m Wendi Smart — the face and heart behind Smart Pomskies and Frenchies. Our puppies are lovingly raised on our small family farm nestled at the base of Rathdrum Mountain in beautiful North Idaho.
For the past 10 years, raising puppies has been far more than a hobby for me — it’s been a round-the-clock commitment built on love, prayer, purpose, and family values. Every puppy is raised inside our home from day one, surrounded by daily affection, socialization, and hands-on care to help prepare them for a confident transition into their forever homes.
We focus on breeding for health, temperament, and beautiful representation of the breed, with all parent dogs health tested to help ensure the best possible start for every puppy. Our goal is not only to raise exceptional companions, but to help each puppy become a deeply loved member of your family for years to come.
One of the things that makes our program unique is the whimsical farm environment our puppies grow up in. Alongside our Pomskies and Frenchies, our farm is home to Valais Blacknose sheep, horses, a miniature horse, call ducks, wood ducks, chickens, and more. This natural environment gives our puppies gentle cross-species exposure and helps nurture curious, well-rounded temperaments.
Most importantly, we want every family who welcomes one of our puppies home to feel supported, encouraged, and cared for throughout the journey — like extended family.

Sweetheart flew safely home to Oregon last night. Taking a much needed breather for a few weeks now between pups. Going to enjoy the farm my family and get some rest:)

What a creative/special puppy update!

Hi! It's 1 week ago I was flying in the clouds. I've been so busy exploring and learning stuff! My mom says im really doing good (for a baby). I like sleeping in my crate now unless I get overtired then I just want to chew on my mom. Her fault she didn't put me to bed on time lol. Mom says she's so proud of me when I potty outside. I like the treats. And I got the sit nailed! Oh, and I wanted to let you know my name is Sasha.
