You can always spot a theater kid. This particular one is a triple threat-singing, dancing and acting!

All of those years of dance lessons certainly paid off as she leapt over the sand, rocking her cowgirl boots and baby doll dress! (We were careful not to have any wardrobe malfunctions on this windy day 🤣)

Effortless, joyful, and completely in her element, Riley danced and smiled the entire way through the session! ❤️

Oh baby! ❤️

This maternity session was so chill, just like Stephanie and Dylan!

I’ve known both of these kids 🤣 since they were in elementary school. Stephanie always had the most beautiful stage presence and singing voice! Dylan was always the adorable boy with the spikey gelled hair!

Imagine my surprise when they asked me for a maternity session!!! Wait, weren’t you both just in elementary school? 🤣🤣🤣 The last time I photographed them, they brought their ginormous German Shepherds. They were so cute! Boy was it a lot easier this session because they left their two fur babies at home to focus on their baby to be❤️

The session was so relaxed and we just giggled our way through it having the best time! (If they had half as much fun as I did, I’d consider it a win!)

Stephanie and Dylan were naturals in front of the camera. Stephanie’s presence made my job so easy!

I cannot wait to meet your new little baby! You two will be amazing parents!

I used to be an elementary school teacher. 🥰

In my very first year of teaching (1990 😅), I had a student named Matthew.

Fast forward 30-ish years… Matthew’s mom, who worked at the Claremont Colleges, recommended me to photograph students for the Claremont McKenna Supply Shop.

Because of that one recommendation, I’ve been photographing CMC students twice a year for several years now—and it’s become one of my favorite ongoing jobs. The students are always amazing, and working with and the CMC Supply Store crew is truly a pleasure. ❤️

Sometimes your first job really does follow you into the next chapter ❤️

I’ve been photographing Katelyn & Alex since their engagement, and now we’re here—maternity photos again, this time waiting on baby girl 💕 Watching families grow is truly the best part of my job.

We found the most beautiful fall colors at a new Upland location, shared the space with fellow photographers, chased the best light, captured the sweetest moments between mama and her little boy… and survived an unexpected run-in with a skunk 😅 (Don’t worry—photos were still amazing.)

The highest compliment is being hired again and again. Thank you for trusting Amy Flammang Photography with every chapter ❤️

You might recognize this sweet family ❤️

I’ve had the joy of photographing them every year for the past several years. We always meet at the same local park, and every session feels brand-new as the kids grow and we come up with fun, fresh poses.

My very first shoot with them was when they had just one little one… and now look at them — a beautiful family of four! Watching them grow up is so much fun!

One of the nicest things you can do for your photographer is hire them again (and again!) to document your family’s memories.

Aveena and Alex reached out to capture some special moments with their sweet boy, Luke. 🐾

This 10-year-old San Francisco shelter mix was full of s***k and very treat-motivated (he went through an entire bag during our session! 😂).

We met bright and early to beat the heat and avoid doggy distractions. Luke totally crushed it!

He explored, posed, and soaked up all the love from his humans. 🐾💛

11 years of tail wags, park runs, couch snuggles, and unconditional love. 💛

Sweet Zuko may be facing bladder cancer and slowly losing his sight, but his heart still sees everything that matters—his pack, his people, and the joy in every moment.

He’s still leading the charge to the park with his best friends Rizzo and Kinickie by his side, just like always. 🐾🐾🐾

Zuko reminds us every day that rescue dogs don’t just change lives—they save them. He’s a greaser with a golden soul, and in the words of Grease the musical…

“We will always be together.” 💫
