This morning, Navy, me, and her momma went out to Sunset Acres to get some pictures! And we had a blast! She was BUSY. She also made a little frenemy with a barn cat, which was probably one of my favorite parts 😂

I hadn’t been out this way before, but I’d seen others visit and figured we’d give it a try! They do a U-pick style flower field, and I think they also have a little farm stand by the road with some goodies.

Man, I miss having littles. The whole time Navy was spouting off her colors, counting flowers, exploring everything she could get her hands on… it made me think how perfect a place like this is for kiddos to just explore nature, learn, and be curious.

Also, I would LOVE to do more sunrise sessions. The light, the quiet, the cool morning air… what a perfect way to start my day.

Last year, I was blessed enough to shoot under Love, Byrd Photography as a second shooter! A second shooter is basically there to back up the lead, catch the moments they can’t, and in my case, learn everything I could along the way. Allie has been incomparable in my journey with Magnolia, and I learned SO much shooting under her.

The funny part? I completely forgot I even shot this wedding. The girl who took these pictures and the photographer you guys see today don’t even live in the same realm. The growth is actually crazy.

But one thing remains: you can FEEL the love in these pictures. Before I knew what I know now, I was still looking for the love, and I was blessed enough to stand there and witness it.

I have been in the editing depths of hell, but GOOD NEWS, my little fun friends. I should have every album, even weddings, out the door by next Friday! Expect trickle uploads, and please check your spam if I’ve told you your gallery was sent.

I’ll be answering all business messages tomorrow!

A quick fall update because you guys are keeping me BUSY:

September is completely booked.
October full sessions are limited to Mondays and Tuesdays.
November availability is hit or miss.

I have ONE fall mini left on 11/1 at 3:15!

I’m also offering THREE $150 full sessions, good when booked anytime within the next year. I’m a woman on a mission.

Forever grateful for a schedule that makes me want to cry a little.
