My grandfather and great grandfather were both photographers, my great grandfather had the chance to photograph the titanic as it departed Ireland on its final voyage. I keep his camera on my desk as a reminder of the importance of capturing moments that can be shared with many generations to come.

This April marks the 113th anniversary of one of the most well-known maritime tragedies in history, the sinking of the RMS Titanic. In fact, today April 11th was the day 113 years ago when the Titanic departed Ireland on its both Maiden and Final voyage.
