This past weekend was a very special milestone in my love for traveling! My husband and I drove to Mississippi & Louisiana--to visit my last 2 states to have been to ALL 50 by 50!! (With months to spare btw 😉)
My travels started when I was young, making many road trips out west with my parents, & continued in our young married life and with our three children over the years. And there are a few states have we been to, just the two of us.
I've seen this Great Nation's National Parks, State Parks, historic monuments, battlefields and cemeteries, back roads and highways. The majestic mountains, white sandy shores, the plentiful Great Plains, bustling ports and quiet, remote lakes are all a joy to visit! Our diverse wildlife and plant life, culture and amazing people, ever-changing landscapes from lava fields to slow-moving glaciers, and great cities that established these United States show God's creative hand in it all!
I am so blessed and thankful to have met this milestone! May it inspire you to take that summer road trip you've been longing for, or flying to a remote part of our nation. Seek beauty and you will find it all around you...no matter where you are!
