Introducing your 2026 Miss El Dorado Stampede, Aubrey Gist:

Hello everyone! My name is Aubrey Gist and I’m honored to announce that I’m your first ever Miss El Dorado Stampede Rodeo Queen! My hometown is Placerville, California which makes this title even more special to me. I recently graduated from Union Mine High School and will be attending Cal Poly SLO in the fall majoring in Agriculture Communications. I’ve been around horses my whole life and have been rodeoing for 7 years now where I compete in barrel racing, breakaway roping, cutting, and reined cow horse!

As your 2026 Miss El Dorado Stampede, I look forward to representing the sport of rodeo at the PRCA level while also representing my hometown! I can’t wait to meet all of you guys at the Stampede in August!

Rodeo is coming to the Mother Lode Fair! 🤠🔥

Get ready for CCPRA Rodeo action, western heritage, arena excitement, and a full lineup packed with contestants ready to ride, rope, and put on a show.

The action starts Friday with rodeo slack at 8 AM, then the CCPRA Rodeo performance takes over the arena Friday evening at 5 PM. Bring the family, grab your seats, and don’t miss kids’ mutton bustin’ kicking things off at 4:30 PM before the rodeo performance begins.

From the youngest riders to a packed lineup of rodeo contestants, this is cowboy grit, hometown Fair excitement, and western tradition all rolled into one big night at the Mother Lode Fair.
