hi, it’s me 🤎📸
I figured it was probably time for a little re-introduction around here.
I’m Marissa, the girl behind Braafladt Lens. I started this business a little less than a year ago with absolutely no idea what I was getting myself into other than knowing I love photography.
And since that day, I’ve gotten to do everything in between. 🥹
Couples, families, maternity, seniors, branding, my amazing senior reps, my first wedding, and countless (and I mean COUNTLESS 😂) hours behind my computer/ipad editing.
For everyone who has trusted me with a piece of your life so far, thank you. Truly. Getting to be the person behind the camera during some of the sweetest seasons of your life is so incredibly heartwarming, and I don’t take that trust lightly.
And for those of you who haven’t booked with me yet… I’m patiently waiting!!! 👀🤎
Finding your own style in such an oversaturated industry can be HARD. There are so many incredibly talented photographers, so many different editing styles, and so many beautiful ways to do this job. I’m still learning, still growing, and still figuring out exactly what my style looks like.
But the one thing I know for sure is that I genuinely love this.
Almost seven years ago, I lost my mom. She taught me to find the light in life and to appreciate the “happy little moments.” The ordinary moments that somehow become the ones we wish we could go back to.
And I think photography has become one of the ways I get to carry that with me.
I get to find the light.
I get to notice the little things.
I get to freeze the happy moments.
And I get to give them back to you to keep forever. 🤎
So if you’re new here, hi!! I’m so glad you found me.
And if you’ve been here since the beginning, thank you for watching this little dream grow. 🥹
I’m so excited for everything that’s still to come.
Now tell me… what season of life are you in right now? 👇🏼
