Ending one season and stepping into another. 🤍

Starting maternity leave with this precious maternity session feels so fitting. Also, it’s so special to share this moment as this is my Brother and sister-in-law!

Remember when I said I finished my last session before maternity leave… welp apparently I’m a sucker for opportunity🫣

Yesterday I had the privilege to capture photos of students from several grade schools in Johnson County celebrating America’s 250th Anniversary!

Events like these are all about candid moments that honor our nations history.

I am QUICKLY wearing down, and ready to meet baby Colton but…. I am booking still for late summer and FALLLLLLL 🍂🍁

This session was centered around Jesus, love, and coffee ☕️🥰✝️

If you know me, there is literally NOTHING better in my mind than those three things!

The Deckers have such a sweet love and a solid sense of humor. Between kisses and jokes I had a blast!

This year they are celebrating 10 years of marriage, with two teenagers, and taking steps to foster, this is only the beginning for them!

I can stand in FULL confidence and say, the Lord will bless them for their heart for Him.
They have scripture written on their heart and they even took a small moment to pray over each other for the rest that is to come… GOALS

- the craziest part is this is only a few of the AWESOME pictures to come!

This location, the sunshine, the pond, the ducks… ☀️🦆✨

This session was giving. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

You may have seen Miranda in some of my previous posts—whether it was silly pumpkin patch photos or branding sessions. Each one told a story, but here’s a little more about who she really is.

Yes, Miranda is a fantastic hairdresser. She’s fun, goofy, and always knows how to make people smile. But beyond that, she spends her days making lives better, helping people through difficult situations, and strengthening family connections.

Miranda recently finished her degree and is now officially a social worker! She’s been working in the field for quite some time, but this accomplishment allows her to expand the impact she can make in the lives of others—all while somehow still keeping my hair looking its best. 💇🏻‍♀️✨

Hats off to you, Miranda! Having known you since high school, watching you grow into the person and professional you are today fills me with so much pride. It’s giving proud mom vibes, and I’m not even sorry about it. 🤍👏🏼

There is just something about love that makes distance disappear🥰

This couple has been together for several years while living many states away but when they are together the feeling in the air is ELECTRIC!

Sadly this was my last prom session for this season but it was a great one to have to finish them all! And we LOVE supportive parents who give privacy for the awkward kissing moment but still want pictures to remember it all, hence being turned around but snapping a few pics 🤭

My response time has been slower the past week or so and if you have been trying to reach me, I have been responding in order of urgency. As I am nearing my due date this momma is feeling pulled in about 1,000 different directions to prepare for my time off.

I will not be taking any sessions in the month of June, with limited availability in July… I would love a good watermelon 4th of July shoot 🥰

If you need something and I haven’t responded, please feel free to reach out again! Otherwise I will be going thorough my inbox this week to get things wrapped up!

A first Mother’s Day—there’s just nothing like it 🥹🌷

This mama absolutely glowed, and her baby girl? Pure sweetness. The kind of giggles, snuggles, and tiny moments that you wish you could bottle up forever. You could feel how new and sacred this season is—every look, every touch, every little smile carrying so much love.

And just when it couldn’t get any sweeter, great grandma stepped in for a few photos at the end 🥰 Three generations, all wrapped up in one beautiful story. The legacy, the love, the way motherhood connects it all—it was such an honor to capture.

These are the moments that turn into the memories they’ll hold onto for a lifetime. Soft, joy-filled, and overflowing with love

Some sessions just feel extra special 🤍

This sweet crew had me smiling the entire time. Big brother fully stepped into his role—stick in hand, protecting his little sister from every “creature” in sight like the brave little pirate he is 🏴‍☠️ Meanwhile, little sis was completely enchanted by the flowers, soaking in all the soft spring magic around her.

You can feel it instantly with this family—the love they have for their mom runs deep. And today, we honor all of it. Not just the babies in her arms, but the ones held safely in her heart. Her motherhood tells a fuller story, one of strength, love, and remembrance. 🌸

I also admire her heart in choosing to keep her babies’ faces private. It’s such a beautiful reminder that photos aren’t about being seen—they’re about preserving moments, honoring stories, and creating something meaningful for the people in them.

This session was tender, playful, and full of love in every moment
