JL Photography Every picture tells a story and I want to help capture them for you. My name is Jamie, I live in Northern MN on the Iron Range.

I’ve had my passion for photography for as long as I can remember. I’ve taken photos for my family, friends, and my friend’s families. Now I would like to extend my passion to capture those moments for you. I take all of my photos outside as I believe nature is the most beautiful background you can have. There is something said about the precious moments you have during a special time in life. Maternity photos are one of those things that serves like a time capsule. They are a big deal, a big moment - a cherishing memory.

The anticipation of the birth is so strong that it’s hard to find a time when a woman feels 100% beautiful and empowered. Maternity photos capture the pure beauty of this time in life when you are creating another human being, a miracle of life. These moments help remind women that they are strong, beautiful inside and out, and simply just amazing. It’s incredible that one can endure the changes and embrace the experience to bring another life into this world.
