Be ready for anything to come from me! Everything from severe weather to cosplay can find its way into my camera's view! Tatsumaki is also a nickname of mine.

My name is Mitchel Coombs, and I am a storm chaser based out of Waco, Texas. I was a student of Atmospheric Science and Geophysics at Texas Tech. I have a passion for severe weather, as well as photography, so I decided to fuse them together. If you are wondering where the name came from, Tatsumaki is the Japanese word for Tornado, and I am an uber fanatic of the Japanese culture. I am hoping to make a website in the near future to sell some of my photography. Enjoy everyone!

The mighty, glacier-covered Mt. Rainier rises 14,410' above sea level. The native Puyallup Tribe's name for Mount Rainier is Tahoma. This stratovolcano is a place that I believe epitomizes the duality between the beauty and power of nature around us.

The Flathead Faerie Festival is underway at the Flathead County Fairgrounds! My mom and I will be out selling all weekend! Come out, have some, say hello and meet some incredible artisans! The event runs until 7 p.m. today and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday!

One of the biggest surprises of 2024's Washington vacation was North Cascade National Park's simple beauty. The peaceful seclusion I was able to find in the park made that beauty all the more special. This view of Diablo Lake was the cherry on top of a great day!

My favorite part of fall is the autumn leaves! The first fall I was in Montana, I made sure to go out on a few walks to enjoy them. This day at Maclay Flats on the Bitterroot River was certainly one of the best!
