What started as a simple plan to take our son to camp turned into one of the sweetest, most unexpected gifts of our summer. ✨

From slow days on the farm in Blackstone, to sandy toes in Colonial Beach, to a sweltering but beautiful day trip through Richmond—this trip became a reminder of how good time with family and the unplanned moments can be.

I brought my camera along for all of it—not to style or stage anything, just to hold on to the joy and connection of being together. 🤍

Photographing Morgan right before she headed off to Auburn was such a joy. From her cowgirl boots to that classic cap‑and‑gown moment, we had so much fun celebrating her sweet personality. I just know the future holds amazing things for this girl, and I can’t wait to watch her story unfold. ✨

It’s wedding weekend for these two! 🤍🍾

I had the best time capturing Sami & Sergio’s engagement photos last fall in Raleigh, and I couldn’t be more excited for them as they say ‘I do’ tomorrow! I’m so grateful for my amazing team of associates who will be capturing all the magic of their beautiful weekend. ✨

2024 has definitely been the year of unexpected, and honestly undeserved, blessings…

If you’d told me this time last year that we’d be moving cross-country, I would’ve laughed and said, “No way!” But God had a plan bigger than I could’ve imagined. This year has been a wild ride—so many unexpected twists and turns—but through it all, I’ve felt an overwhelming sense of peace which has reminded me every step of the way that Christ truly is my firm foundation. 🏔️

Looking back, I’m in awe. Over 120 sessions and 85+ clients—as grateful as I am for those numbers, they’re not what matters most to me. It’s the PEOPLE behind them. The hugs after a session, the love I’ve been privileged to capture, and the joy of freezing memories for so many incredible families and couples. My client base has such a blessing to me, and I’m so grateful for every one of you. 🥹✨

As we step into 2025, things will start to look a little different around here. A new state, new clients, and new opportunities are waiting and I’m so excited for what’s to come. God’s plans are always good, and I’m trusting Him every step of the way. 🙏🏻

Here’s to 2024—the year I’ll always remember for its unexpected blessings. And here’s to 2025—because the best is yet to come. 🥂

Bittersweet Goodbye, New Beginnings ❤️

Our little family has called North Carolina home for nearly five years, and what a journey it’s been. Raleigh, you’ve shaped us in ways we’ll never forget. Over the past four years, I’ve had the honor of capturing over 400 photo sessions, working with the most amazing clients and vendors. This community has been such a huge part of my life in this season, and leaving feels a little like leaving a piece of my heart behind.

To all of the clients, friends, and vendors who supported me along the way—thank you. Truly, from the bottom of my heart, thank you. Your trust and enthusiasm made every late-night editing session, every gallery send-off, and every “OMG, I love these!” text so incredibly worth it. Capturing your moments meant just as much to me as it did to you. 🤍

So what’s next for Glynnis Christensen Photography? We’re heading to Texas! I’m beyond excited to start this new chapter in our home state of Texas and meet an incredible new community of people. I am also not upset *at all* about being back in the land of H-E-B. 🤣 (iykyk 😉)

Cheers, Raleigh—you’ve been better to me than I ever could’ve imagined. Thank you for everything. Here’s to what’s ahead! 🌟

I could write a thousand words about how special this day was and how much I adore this sweet couple. Stephanie and Matt are the kind of people you meet and instantly feel like lifelong friends—pure hearts and truly kind souls. Yesterday was such a special day with Natsumi & Chris! My heart has been so heavy as I’ve watch the devastation caused by Helene, especially knowing how deeply it has impacted so many communities right here in Western NC. Having photographed so many special moments in this beautiful region, it’s heartbreaking to see so many families and businesses affected. My thoughts are with everyone who has been touched by this tragedy. ❤️‍🩹

In times like these, every small effort makes a difference. I’ll be sharing some links in my stories for individuals and organizations working hard on the ground to provide relief.
