MEET HAPPY GOLDFISH

I found this little golden beauty in the most unexpected place.

I was leaving an eatery when a large aquarium caught my attention, filled with a colorful welcoming committee. As I stepped closer, one little golden fish seemed to swim right toward me—as though it had been waiting to say hello.

Thankfully, I had my camera.

I lifted it just as that sweet little face turned toward me, and I could have sworn it was smiling. Maybe it was simply the light, the movement of the water, or a photographer seeing a little more than what was there. But in that moment, I saw joy.

And that is how HAPPY GOLDFISH came to be.

I imagine this little fish hanging in a room where someone goes at the end of a long day. Maybe work was difficult. Maybe being a mom felt especially exhausting. Maybe life simply asked a little too much that day.
