There is something about photographing families that gets me excited. I think it’s the energy- it’s similar to weddings. I feel it when I am finding beauty in the chaos.

I have talked about how striving for perfection and creating moments for photography is the complete opposite of reality. It will also set you up for a bad experience overall.

Reality is life will most likely go the way you weren’t intending it to go. So will a family session.

If you go into your session prepared that I want your family to be authentic, wild, crazy, and emotional… You will be left with beautiful images that represent your life if you just let it be!
