Once a neon lit sanctuary for highway travelers and locals alike, the Junction City Restaurant now sits in a long, quiet retirement. There’s a haunting beauty in the peeling paint and the way the Indiana clouds hang heavy over its roof. A silent monument to the golden age of the American roadside diner. 🏚️

This house used to be a home—now it’s just a geographic obstacle.
Walking through these rooms, you can still feel the echoes of morning coffee and late-night laughs. It’s strange to see a lifetime of memories reduced to a "structure" marked for demolition. Soon, a multi-lane road will run right through where the living room stands, erasing the physical footprint of a family's history to save commuters five minutes.
Progress always comes with a price. Sometimes, that price is a place that someone once called forever.
