Hosted by videographer Denaise Seals, this project honors senior artists, colleagues, friends, and cultural leaders whose creative histories embody perseverance, mentorship, service, and cultural leadership in DC’s arts and humanities communities.

This production honors Sheila Crider, Nancy Havlik, Deborah Riley, Sylvia Soumah, Maida Withers, and fellow creative leaders whose combined impact reflects more than two centuries of rooted presence in Washington, DC’s creative life.
