A podcast interview from last year about my work & book Mālama Maui: Music Photography From Lahaina 🥁📸

I tend to get pretty nervous doing interviews & sometimes cringe at hearing my own recorded voice. So, funny enough, I only listened to the full interview for the first time last night.

Lately I’ve been hearing a lot about the importance of telling your own story in business. It’s ironic—as a photographer, I capture portraits & images to tell other people’s stories, yet in recent years I tend to be more private about my own.

So, here I am, sharing this & pushing past my natural shyness. Hope you enjoy it—I’d love to hear your thoughts.
