These are my top posts in 2017.
ALL I SEE IS GROWTH. All of these are pictures I've taken in my pursuit of my creative career. Even the picture of my beautiful face shows a higher level of consciousness and determination.
There have been plenty of ups and downs but I'M EXTREMELY PROUD OF WHAT I NOW KNOW + GRATEFUL FOR THE OPPORTUNITIES I AM BLESSED WITH! If you know me personally, you may know how easy of a year it wasn't for me: dropping out of school, living on my own, negative balances in my acct, feeling unhealthy, relying on help from friends. Nonetheless, one thing still remains: ME in my highest version of myself! I've been using a camera for 5+ years, self-taught + self-motivated. This was the first year I shot my shot at going public with my craft + actually posted my work. Despite this being one of the most eye-opening years of my life, even more it was a self-actualizing year. I defined myself through the adversity + reached heights I would've never imagined. I landed an internship with , a mentorship with , joined the team, shot + directed a lookbook for and met networks of amazing creatives. I had to harlem-shake through the pressure + allow the blessings to flow in. This summer changed my life. 2018, I'm coming for you.

Almost a month ago, I impulsively fled from Atlanta, where I've resided for the last six years, on a bus to New York City. Frustrated with unprofessionalism + stagnated by creator's block, I began to second-guess my passion for art + entrepreneurship + making it my purpose to merge the two. Instead of trying to analyze and predict the outcome of my situations, I trusted my process as a 'Yes' man and found myself here.

I am now in the mountains of Colorado Springs, Colorado waking up to low clouds, cold skies + a hot sun. In the last month, I've been to six different states, documenting the people who have inspired me and reminded me why this is what I love to do. This next series is an ode to them.
