One day, you’re going to look back and realize they don’t fit on your hip anymore. 🥹

The little hands wrapped around your finger. The missing teeth. The belly laughs. The way they run straight to you when they need comfort. The way your toddler still says certain words completely wrong and you secretly hope no one ever corrects them. 🤍

Right now, it can feel like chaos. Getting everyone dressed, fixing hair, finding the other shoe, convincing your husband that family pictures really ARE necessary 😂… but these are the years you’re going to miss.

And mama, you deserve to be IN the memories. Not just the one taking them on your phone.

Your kids don’t need to sit perfectly still or smile at the camera the entire time. Let them be little. Let them laugh, wiggle, snuggle, and love on you. Those are the moments I want to capture.

From one dog mom to another, and to the ones who know they’re so much more than “just a pet”… 🐾🤎

This is your reminder to include them in the family photos.

They’re there for the everyday moments. The morning routines, the walks, the car rides, the couch cuddles, the kids growing up. They’re woven into your family’s story in ways you sometimes don’t realize until you look back.

And unfortunately, we never get quite enough time with them. 🥺

One day, that photo of your pup sitting beside your kids, licking your face, refusing to look at my camera, or being their wonderfully chaotic self may become one of the most treasured photos you own.

So please don’t wait until they’re older.

I know how easy it is to keep putting family pictures off….

You’re waiting for everyone’s schedules to line up, for the kids to be a little more cooperative, for the right outfits, or maybe just for life to slow down a little.

But if there’s one thing I’ve learned from photographing families, it’s that life doesn’t slow down… and neither do our babies growing up (Even our older babies). 🥹

So this is your little reminder from me: book the pictures. Even if your toddler or teenager refuses to smile. Even if someone ends up with grass stains. Even if it feels a little chaotic getting everyone out the door.
