The outfit you're most nervous about is usually the one that makes the best images. Every time. πŸ–€

Here's the pattern we see: a woman packs four safe looks and one wildcard. The wildcard sits in the bag. She mentions it around outfit three, laughing, like it's a joke. "I brought this but I don't think I can pull it off."

Reader, she can pull it off.

Also worth knowing: some of the most stunning images we make involve no lingerie at all. An oversized white button-down. A blazer. His t-shirt. A sheet. Fabric that moves does incredible things in good light, and "sexy" has way less to do with lace than the internet led you to believe.

So bring the safe ones. But pack the wildcard. 😌

Nobody tells you that reveal day is the nerve-wracking part.

A client just told us she was more nervous walking into her reveal than she was walking into her session. And that tracks. By the time you're shooting, you've already jumped. You're in it, you're laughing, Danielle is telling you where to put your chin. The hard part is behind you.

Reveal day is different. Reveal day is finding out what you actually look like when someone who knows what they're doing points a camera at you.

Her words about the run-up: "Was I nervous? Yes! Did I doubt myself? Absolutely!" Age, body, appearance, all of it, on a loop.

Then she saw the images and said she'd never looked so beautiful.

Her husband saw them and immediately talked her into the bigger package and wall art. Which, respectfully, is the correct reaction.

Here's what we want you to take from this: the nerves are not a sign you shouldn't do it. Every woman who has ever sat in that chair was nervous. The ones who book anyway are the ones who end up with something on their wall.

"I would do this for myself every year if I could."

That's a real client, and honestly it's our favorite kind of review, because she didn't say the photos were pretty. She said she'd come back.

She also called it exhausting. She's right. Nobody warns you that session day is work. You're on your feet, you're holding poses, you're being told to arch, breathe, tilt, hold it, don't move. Around hour three your abs are tired and you're wondering how models do this for a living.

And then you see the images.

That's the trade. A day that wrings you out, and a set of pictures that make you go quiet for a second because you didn't know you had that in you.

She mentioned the calm in the room, too. That part isn't an accident. Nobody is rushing you, nobody is guessing, and you are never left standing there wondering what to do with your hands. Danielle tells you. Every single time.

You will leave tired. You will also leave taller.

Things we hear at literally every single session, ranked by how fast they happen:

Minute 3: "I'm so awkward, I'm so sorry."
(You're not. You're new. Different thing.)

Minute 15: "Is this okay? Am I doing it wrong?"
(You're doing exactly what I told you to do, so no.)

Minute 40: "Wait, can I see that one?"
(Oh, now we're talking.)

Minute 55: "Okay what if I did the other outfit too."
(There she is. 😌)

At the reveal: "That's not me."
(It is. It has been the whole time.)

Every woman thinks she's going to be the exception. The one who's too stiff, too awkward, too whatever. We have not met her yet.

The first 20 minutes of your session involve zero photos. Here's what's actually happening. πŸ‘‡

You arrive. You are nervous, everyone is nervous, this is not a personal failing, this is the tax on doing something brave.

You get a drink. You hang your outfits. Danielle compliments the ones you were second-guessing in the car.

Then you sit down and get your hair and makeup done by a professional, which takes a little while, and during that while something happens: you stop being a woman who's about to do a bo***ir shoot and start being a woman having a really good day.

By the time you're in your first look, you've been in this room for over an hour. You've laughed. You know everyone's name. The nerves haven't disappeared, they've just gotten quieter than the excitement.

Nobody points a camera at a stranger. We shoot when you're ready.

"Will my pictures end up on your Instagram?"

No. Not unless you tell us yes; in writing, on purpose, after you've seen them.

This is the question we get most often in DMs and honestly? Good. You should be asking it. Your images are yours. You decide if they're shared, where, and how much of you is in the frame. Some women share everything. Some women choose one image where you can only see the back of her shoulder. Some choose nothing at all, forever, and that is a completely normal answer.

Every image you see on this page is here because a woman said "yes, share that one." 🀍

And if you're doing this purely for you, nobody else on earth has to know it happened. Not your group chat, not your mother-in-law, not the internet.

Privacy isn't a perk we offer. It's the baseline.

The "I'll book after I lose 20 pounds" plan has a 0% success rate. I said what I said. πŸ™ƒ

Not because you can't lose the weight. Because the goalpost moves. You hit the number and suddenly it's your arms. Then it's finding the right lingerie. Then it's "well, not in summer."

We've been doing this since 2013 and we have never , not once, had a client at her reveal say "I wish I'd waited until I was smaller."

What they actually say is some version of: I can't believe that's me.

Here's the thing nobody tells you: posing and lighting do more for your body in one frame than three months of anything else. That's not a compliment, it's just physics. We know exactly how to angle, light, and pose you so the camera sees what the mirror keeps hiding from you.

You don't have to become a different woman first. You get to meet the one who's already here.

You do NOT need to know how to pose. In fact, please don't.

Every single week someone tells us they practiced in their bathroom mirror the night before. Girl. Put the phone down. That's our job.

Here's what actually happens: Danielle tells you where to put your left hand. Then your chin. Then "okay, now breathe out and look at the window." Then she says "don't move" and takes the shot.

You're not performing. You're being directed, down to your fingertips, your shoulders, the angle of your hip, and yes, what to do with your face.

Nobody walks in knowing how to do this. That's the entire point of hiring someone who poses women for a living.

The women whose images you've been saving on IG? They didn't know either. 🀍

PSA: Please Do Not Buy Heels Just For Your Session πŸ›‘πŸ‘

We see it every week. Someone drops $80+ on shoes she'll wear for 90 minutes and never again. Save your money, gorgeous.

Introducing our Red Bottom Shoe Closet Upgrade, just $50. Add it to your session and you'll have access to our red bottom heels in Black, Dark N**e, and Light N**e, the three colors that go with literally everything you'll be wearing (and the three that make legs look a mile long on camera).

Sizes 6 to 11 available. πŸ™Œ

That iconic flash of red on the bottom of your shoe? It shows up in more poses than you'd think. It's the kind of detail that quietly makes an image look expensive.

So if your session is coming up, cross "buy shoes" off your prep list. It's handled. πŸ’‹

Already booked? Reach out to add the upgrade to your session.

Not booked yet? Let's fix that πŸ‘‡πŸ» https://link.evokebo***ir.com/widget/bookings/evoke-bo***ir/consult
