I celebrated America’s 250th Birthday by seeing the Young Washington film in a theatre, picking up small fallen American flags by a sidewalk and replanting them in the ground, then I went to the Netherlands Carillon to capture the celebration.

It’s Cherry Blossom season and I’m getting ready to photograph some blossoms soon. I was reminiscing past photo walks and sessions, and here are photos from years past.

It’s been awhile since I’ve posted here, but now is a good time to share. I photographed headshots for 25 people at a company this month. I’m happy with the results. I try to keep headshots focused on the head and shoulders because when the picture is on a website, it needs to fill the frame and be as big as possible (especially if it’s a thumbnail image). I try to capture the person for who they are with a professional and positive expression.
