Guys, I've been photographing families for a long time now, and when that happens you get to document them at all stages of life. When I really sit down and think about it, I'm not gonna lie, I get choked up. In my minds eye, this is how I remembered Mia and her sister - two kids running around -sometimes in the opposite direction, being goofy and hanging on each other. To see them on the cusp on adulthood was a little bit of a jolt, but Mom, Dad and I decided - no DECLARED - the kids got older and we hadn't aged a day. šŸ˜

Second thought, I pulled the family photo of Mia and Sasha directly from my portfolio on my website. Although I do update my portfolio from time to time, I do have photos spanning the 15+ years I've been in business in my portfolios. I strive to create timeless - dare I say it - pieces of art, to hang on your walls and cherished for years to come. Fads are fun, but I hope to bring back those fleeting stages of life - a time when you remembered the kids being goofy, or your first moments after saying I do, or your favorite park to walk with your four legged best friend.

That's my sappy moment for the day. šŸ„²
